Henrikh Mkhitaryan has reaffirmed his hopes of signing permanently with Roma.
The Arsenal midfielder has been took a pause in the Premier League to join Roma on a season long loan and admits he enjoys life settled in Italy.
«Serie A has its particularities, many underestimate it, but it is fascinating as a championship», he said.
«Now is not like twenty years ago, but I am happy that the championship is continuing to grow and my loan from last year also speaks for itself. I am happy to play in Italy.
«I had heard that the fans here were ‘crazy’, in a good way. But I didn’t think they really were. I am very happy to play with Roma and its fans.»
He also added: «I have already won a lot, but that’s the past. I want to get more next year because when you stop everyone will wonder what you did for the team. So it is important for me to leave a positive message by winning something. In Rome there are great talents and I hope they will be able to achieve their goals.»
